The story
July light gathers along the slender stems, tracing each one in gold. They cross without closing off the blue-green space between them. Farther back, their shapes soften into pale streaks, almost dissolving into color. The eye follows one diagonal, then another, finding a quiet rhythm with no fixed beginning.
