A rocky stream branches into pale cascades beneath densely wooded slopes, its softened flow contrasting with the coarse surfaces of massive boulders. Diffuse light reveals green moss and a prominent red rock, while the broad foreground draws the eye upstream toward small, distant figures. The composition balances the weight of stone with the continuous movement of water.
The story
December begins here in green, with foliage crowding the banks above the broken stream. Water slips through narrow gaps, gathers briefly in dark pools, and spills again into white ribbons. A red boulder stands among the gray stones, its rough face above the passing current. Far upstream, small figures linger at the forest edge, dwarfed by the rocks and the breadth of the water.
