Palm silhouettes rise above a beachfront promenade as a low sun casts golden rays across its central wall. Curved white architecture and a dark double streetlamp frame the view, balancing the saturated sky with the measured geometry of the built landscape.
The story
I framed the sun in the opening between the white walls, where the promenade seemed to pause before reaching the sea. Above it, the palms made an uneven rhythm against a sky shifting from gold to turquoise. I was drawn to the contrast: the walls smooth and deliberate, the fronds branching in every direction. For a moment, the small sun held the whole composition together, its light spilling toward the empty brick foreground.
