An Arc of Fire

About this piece
An arching green blade carries clear droplets, several holding miniature images of a red-orange flower. Bright highlights define their rounded edges against a saturated field of orange, yellow, and red, while a softer reflection below completes an almost elliptical composition. The precise focus lends this small botanical study a suspended stillness.
The story
At the close of May, a slender green arc holds a row of luminous beads. Within the droplets, a flower gathers into tiny repetitions, its warm color enclosed by bright rims. Beneath them, the reflection loosens into gold and orange. Nothing falls; the moment rests on the narrow edge of the blade.
