Seven water droplets cling to a slender, arching stem, each refracting a yellow flower with a green center. Saturated golden light fills the frame, while shallow focus separates the crisp droplets from the softened background and reflections below. Their alternating placement above and beneath the stem gives this intimate study a delicate, measured rhythm.
The story
At the close of May, a flower appears again and again inside a row of water droplets. Each small lens bends its petals differently, drawing yellow rays around a green center. The stem holds a gentle arc across the golden field, with bright points of light resting on the water. Below, the repeated flowers dissolve into softer shapes, as though the scene is slowly slipping out of focus.
