About this piece
Water droplets cling above and below a slender, arching stem, each holding a refracted image of a yellow flower. Bright highlights and a saturated yellow-green background turn this close study into a luminous rhythm of rounded forms, balanced along a single curve.
The story
On this late-May day, a narrow stem carries a row of small, bright worlds. Yellow petals gather inside each droplet, their shapes bending toward green centers. Beyond the curve, the surrounding color dissolves into a soft haze. The eye moves from bead to bead, finding a flower anew each time.
