Between Copper And Sky

About this piece
An upward view places gridded glass towers opposite a copper-colored structure of repeating angular tiers. Sunlight breaks across its edge, warming the reflective surfaces against an intensely blue sky. Converging lines and a narrow opening of sky give the composition a sense of height and suspended movement.
The story
August light fills the space between the buildings, catching on glass and gathering along copper-colored edges. A cloud appears twice: once overhead, once scattered across a tower's window grid. On the right, reflections ripple through the tiered surfaces while the sun holds bright at their rim. The eye follows the rising lines until the architecture gives way to open blue.
