The story
August light fills the space between glass and metal. On one side, the sky gathers in a thousand rectangular panes; on the other, reflections bend across warm metallic surfaces. The sun slips past an edge and briefly overwhelms the precise geometry. Looking upward, the city becomes a quiet arrangement of blue, gold, and glare.
