The story

On this November day, blue fills the distance between the moored boat and the rocky horizon. Sunlight settles on the pale stern and the loops of rope inside the bow. Around the posts, reflections lengthen and tremble with each small ripple. The empty boat remains tethered, its bow pointing toward open water.
