The story

On this November day, the boat rests with no sail raised, its rigging drawing fine lines against the sky. Light gathers along the mast and descends into the water as a trembling golden thread. Small ripples break the reflected hull into narrow bands. To the right, a yellow buoy keeps its quiet distance.
