A large terracotta urn holds slender green and golden grasses against a wall of irregular dark stones. The story
Late July light gathers on the clay, turning its rounded surface amber and gold. Above the rim, fine grass stems cross and separate, their seed heads bright against the dark stone. Pale marks trace the vessel’s shoulders while patterned bands circle its body. Shadow pools beside it, leaving the grasses and earthen surface in a quiet exchange of light.
