White cylindrical windmills stand among stone terraces and dense planting, their exposed wooden spokes outlined against a deep blue sky. Low golden light warms the plaster and rough masonry, while turquoise window frames offer a cool counterpoint. The large foreground wheel and its smaller echo at left give the hillside composition a measured, quiet rhythm.

The story

Late July light settles across the white walls, turning their curved surfaces the color of honey. Wooden spokes reach into the open sky, their fine connecting lines tracing an airy geometry. Below them, leaves and small red flowers gather along the dark stone terraces. The eye moves from one round tower to the next, climbing the hillside as the light holds its warmth.
