A weathered boardwalk descends between rope-strung posts and dense beach grasses toward a narrow opening onto the sea. Warm sunlight illuminates the coconut palm and dune vegetation, while the converging walkway draws the eye beneath an expansive blue sky. The composition balances the palm’s sweeping canopy with the quiet invitation of the distant water.

The story

On this August day, light catches the palm fronds in green and gold. Sand settles into the grooves of the wooden walkway, softening the lines between boards and beach. The ropes dip from post to post, following the passage through the grasses. Beyond their last span, the sea opens beneath pale banks of cloud. The path has an ending; the view seems not to.
