Chrome And Vermilion

About this piece

A tightly framed Porsche interior brings the steering wheel’s chrome spokes and crested hub into sharp relief against softly focused dashboard gauges. Bright reflections cast cool blue tones across the metal, contrasting with saturated red trim and upholstery. Overlapping circles and diagonal spokes give the still interior a sense of movement.

The story

On this November day, the frame holds a small, brilliant world of chrome, glass, and red upholstery. Light gathers along the slender spokes and breaks into blue reflections around the wheel’s center. Behind it, the instruments recede into soft circles, their markings only partly legible. No hands interrupt the wheel’s curve; the promise of movement remains suspended.
