A tightly cropped rooster fills the frame with copper-orange neck feathers, a vivid red comb and wattles, and dark, iridescent plumage. Light catches the feather edges while motion blur sweeps through the head and upper feathers, giving the intimate portrait a restless, painterly energy.
The story
In the light of early April, the rooster becomes a rush of copper and scarlet. A small movement carries the comb into a soft red arc, while the darker feathers retain their overlapping patterns. Behind him, green and pale blue dissolve into brightness. For an instant, the familiar bird is almost entirely color, texture, and movement.
