A rooster stands prominently on pale sand, its red comb and golden neck feathers sharply defined against blurred palms, beach umbrellas, and distant figures. Bright sunlight reveals the layered plumage, while the low viewpoint gives this small beach encounter a commanding, alert presence.
The story
On this early April day, sunlight catches the rooster’s golden feathers and the fine edges of its raised tail. Behind it, yellow and blue umbrellas soften into broad patches of color beneath the palms. Its beak opens, interrupting the apparent stillness of the scene. For a moment, the beach belongs to this bright, watchful figure.
