A pale shoreline curves beneath palms whose green and rust-colored fronds fill the right side of the frame. Warm light touches the trunks and foreground grasses, while the low horizon opens onto calm water and expansive cloud formations.
The story
I stopped where the grasses met the sand and let the curve of the beach lead my eye outward. The palms filled one side of the view, their fronds catching green, gold, and rust against the blue. Beyond them, the water offered a quieter surface, broken by small ripples and distant markers. I framed the shore between those two rhythms: the close detail of leaves and the long, unhurried line of the horizon.
