Warm light washes across a crowded harbor, catching white hulls, bright buoys, and the long waterfront facade. A central opening of turquoise water gives the composition room to breathe, while reflected masts turn straight lines into wavering traces.
The story
I framed the harbor around the open water between the boats, letting that quiet space lead my eye toward the gathered masts. Along the right-hand quay, the building held the light in broad bands of gold. Below it, every reflection loosened into small ripples. I was drawn to the contrast: ropes, engines, and working boats crowded together, yet enough space on the water for the whole scene to feel unhurried.
