A slender green blade carries clear droplets across a field of saturated orange and gold. Its reflection completes an elongated oval, while selective focus holds the droplets in crisp relief against the softened petals behind them.
The story
I brought my attention down to the curve of a single blade, where each droplet held a small fragment of orange. Through the lens, the flower behind it became almost pure color, leaving the green arc to draw its quiet line. I framed the reflection as carefully as the blade itself. Together they seemed to enclose a little pocket of stillness, suspended within all that warmth.
