A close view of a broad green leaf reveals scattered water droplets resting along finely parallel veins. Strong directional light turns the surface luminous yellow-green and gives each bead a distinct shadow, while diagonal folds lend the composition rhythm and depth.
The story
Late November finds a small reservoir of brightness on the leaf. Water gathers in rounded beads, each holding a glint above its dark shadow. Fine veins cross the frame like closely ruled lines, disappearing into folds of deeper green. Beyond the leaf’s edge, detail dissolves into a soft wash of light.
