The story

November light gathers along the mast, a slender warmth against the surrounding blue. The sail remains lowered, and the boat rests without a visible wake. Small ripples pass beneath its three hulls, breaking the reflected rigging into fragments. Above the water, the mast holds straight; below, its golden double trembles and gradually disappears.
