Two white bell towers rise above curved rooftops, framing a sparkling blue sea and a distant rugged ridge. Strong sunlight reveals the grain of the plaster and weathered stone trim, while blue domes and closely clustered buildings gather along the right edge. The expansive water balances the density of the architecture, lending the scene a luminous stillness.

The story

Late July light rests on the rounded roofs, bringing every rough patch of plaster into relief. Beneath the white arches, green-patinated bells hang above the water. A crisp shadow falls across the nearer roof while the sea scatters light beyond it. Along the cliff, domes and terraces overlap, their intimate spaces held against the broad blue distance.
