The story

Late July light gathers on the white roofs, bright enough to make every shaded recess feel deep. A stairway slips between curved walls, passing terracotta pots and small patches of green. Above it, the domes hold their blue against the finer, restless texture of the sea. Two bells hang motionless in their pale peach arches. Beyond the clustered terraces, the water gives the eye room to wander.
