The story

Late July light settles on the white roofs, leaving small pockets of shadow beneath their curves. Two blue domes hold the sea’s colour above the clustered terraces, and a pink bell tower offers a warmer note. Beyond the buildings, sunlight breaks into countless bright points on the water. The distant cliffs remain dark and still as the eye travels outward from plaster and stone to the open bay.
