Whitewashed terraces and a narrow stone passage overlook a deep blue sea, while pastel buildings and blue domes gather along the rocky slope. Brilliant sunlight defines the curved parapets and casts crisp shadows, balancing the dense architecture at right with the open water at left.

The story

Late July light settles fiercely on the white walls, leaving a narrow ribbon of shade along the stone passage. A closed wooden door holds its muted colour against the glare. Beyond the terraces, blue domes rise among cream, ochre, and rose façades, while small boats mark the water below. The eye follows the curve of a parapet outward, toward the long, bare ridge across the sea.
