The story

I followed the jet through the blue, watching its wings turn almost upright above the scattered boats. Below, the vessels seemed to occupy another rhythm, measured in small wakes and slow distances. I framed the aircraft between that patient water and the pale horizon, leaving room for the sea around it. What held my attention was the contrast: one brief, decisive angle suspended over a scene of long horizontal lines.
