A sweeping diagonal shoreline divides turquoise water from a bright beach, where umbrellas, loungers, and small figures form an intricate pattern. The high-key palette softens individual details while preserving the lively density of a shared day beside the sea.
The story
From above, I watched the beach gather into little islands of color: a striped umbrella, an orange canopy, a circle of chairs. In the water, swimmers were scattered more loosely, their movements interrupting the blue. I framed the shoreline as a long, pale seam between those two rhythms. What held my attention was the way so many separate afternoons could become one picture, each small figure keeping a moment of their own.
