Where Air Takes Shape

About this piece
A gray, twin-tail military jet banks across an uninterrupted blue sky, its nose pointing toward the upper left. Sunlight catches the canopy and white wing condensation while the underside remains shaded, setting soft vapor against the aircraft’s angular structure. The close framing holds the turn in a moment of suspended force.
The story
On the first day of 2019, the sky offers a broad blue field without a horizon. A jet turns through it, and air briefly becomes visible in white folds across the wings. Light glances along the canopy; beneath it, the fuselage carries cool shadows. The vapor thins behind the metal, leaving the turn unfinished in the frame.
