Geometry Above Silence

About this piece

Seen from below, a B-2 stealth bomber fills the frame with its broad flying wing and stepped trailing edge. Light traces its leading edge and reveals panel seams across the shaded underside, while the uninterrupted blue sky gives its angular form a sculptural isolation.

The story

On this May day, the sky offers no horizon, only blue. A dark wing crosses the open expanse, its edges as precise as folded paper. Light catches a narrow rim, and small markings emerge from the shadow beneath. For a moment, flight seems less like movement than a shape held against the air.
