Where Glass Holds Clouds

About this piece
A copper-colored lattice of stairs rises beside reflective glass towers, with pedestrians and planted greenery anchoring the plaza below. Bright daylight sharpens the contrast between warm metal and blue reflections, while the upward-looking composition opens a broad passage of sky between the buildings.
The story
August light rests on the copper-colored landings and flashes across the window grids. Above the plaza, clouds repeat themselves in glass, their soft edges broken into hundreds of panes. People pause together or cross the patterned paving, small beneath the rising façades. Green foliage gathers around the buildings' feet, giving the monumental scene a softer, human-scaled edge.
