A breaking wave throws a high veil of spray between fractured coastal rocks, while turquoise water and white foam fill the channels below. Bright daylight reveals the stone’s coarse texture and pale mineral bands, balancing the weight of the rock formations against the fleeting arc of water.

The story

On this June day, the sea rises into the space between the rocks. For a moment, countless droplets shine against the blue sky, and the distant horizon disappears behind their veil. Foam spreads through the narrow channels, tracing each ledge and hollow. The stone holds its shape as the water begins to fall.
