Bells Above The Blue

The story

Late July light settles brightly on the whitewashed roof, revealing its rough, warm-toned surface. Wind gathers the flag into folds above the motionless bells. Far below, small boats draw white traces across the blue water, their passage slight against the long sweep of rock. Between the arches, the sea remains open and uninterrupted.
