The story

On this November day, a narrow band of gold glows beside the pier, beneath clouds layered in blue and rose. Water gathers around the concrete legs and spreads a thin sheen across the sand. Overhead, the repeating beams draw the eye outward, while their reflections loosen into wavering shadows below. For a moment, the shore holds both the weight of the structure and the weightlessness of its reflection.
