About this piece
A broad-crowned pine anchors a seaside terrace, where sculptural wooden furniture and curved cushioned seats overlook a swimming pool and the open sea. Sunlight picks out the foliage and warm wood against expansive blues, while the low horizon and rippling foreground lend the composition an unhurried calm.
The story
Late July light rests on the pine’s dense crown, turning the outer needles yellow-green. Beneath it, empty cushions face the sea, and a small cactus occupies the wooden table. Ripples loosen the reflections along the pool’s dark stone border. Beyond the glass railing, the water stretches toward a pale horizon, leaving the terrace suspended between shade and blue.
