A slender, open-frame lighthouse rises among palms beside the sea, its lantern aligned beneath the bright disc of the sun. In black and white, luminous cloud edges and broken reflections contrast with the dark foliage and tower, creating a measured vertical composition and a mood of watchful stillness.

The story

Late September light gathers above the lantern, as though the tower carries a second beacon. Clouds surround the bright opening without closing it. Below, palm fronds lean over the shore, and the water breaks the light into small silver fragments. The eye follows those fragments toward the lighthouse, then lifts again into the spacious sky.
