The story

I followed the aircraft through the viewfinder as its wings tilted across the sky. What held my eye was not only the blue and yellow shape, but the white vapor gathering around it, giving the air a fleeting body. I wanted to hold that contrast: the hard geometry of the machine and the softness of what it disturbed. For a moment, the sky seemed to draw the turn itself.
