The story

I framed the aircraft against the horizon, leaving room for the sea beneath it. What held my attention was the white sail below: a small, upright shape answering the broad wings overhead. The motorboats drew pale lines across the water, each following its own course. For a moment, the scene seemed to gather several measures of movement into one frame—the crossing above, the passage below, and the endless shifting surface between them.
