The story
On this November day, a narrow opening beneath the clouds holds a brilliant seam of orange. Birds perch along the wires, small dark marks above the open water. The bridge carries its rhythm of arches toward the light, each span diminishing until the distance gathers them together. Across the turquoise surface, the sun leaves a wavering path that reaches almost to the edge of the frame.
