About this piece
A banking fighter jet occupies the right side of the frame, its pointed nose directed into an open expanse of blue. Sunlight glints along the canopy while dense white condensation partially veils the angular wings and twin tails. The contrast between hard metal and transient vapor gives this airborne study a suspended, almost sculptural presence.
The story
On this January day, the sky offers no horizon, only blue around a turning aircraft. A copper-colored glint catches the canopy, a small warmth amid gray metal and white vapor. Air gathers visibly across the wings, softening their precise edges, while two traces of pink-orange exhaust extend behind. For a moment, the machine carries its own passing cloud.
