About this piece
A violinist in a bright yellow Pikachu costume stands on a rocky outcrop beneath a dense canopy of trees, with saxophones arranged at the left and effects pedals spread across the foreground. Dappled sunlight catches the brass and textured stone, while the upright figure brings a playful theatrical presence to the broad, leafy setting.
The story
August light slips through the canopy and pools on the rock. Beneath the costume’s tall yellow ears, a violin rests against a shoulder and the bow crosses its strings. The saxophones wait nearby, their brass surfaces gathering small flashes of sun. Cables curl over the uneven stone, turning a patch of ground into a temporary stage. The scene holds woodland shade and bright make-believe together.
