Terraces Of Summer

About this piece

A turquoise plunge pool anchors a layered view of whitewashed hotel terraces in Santorini, identified by the sign near the center. Strong sunlight defines curved walls, diagonal stairways and recessed doorways, while cream parasols and scattered plants soften the architectural rhythm. The close composition gathers the hillside buildings into an intimate arrangement of summer leisure.

The story

Late July light falls across Santorini’s whitewashed terraces, gathering brightness along every rounded parapet. Stairways climb between rooms and balconies, giving the hillside architecture its interlocking rhythm. Beneath the parasols, shaded chairs offer a pause from the sun. The small pool holds a concentrated blue, its ripples lending movement to the still geometry of walls.
