The story

Late June light fills the valley, reaching across the treetops and laying bare the pale faces of the cliffs. In the foreground, individual branches stand distinct; farther away, the forest gathers into a continuous green texture. Shadow settles into the folds of the rock, cool and blue against the sunlit stone. The eye follows the narrowing valley until trees and mountains soften together in the distance.
