Trees glow vivid orange and red beneath a dark sky dotted with blue-white stars and a winding red light trace.

Embers Beneath The Stars

About this piece

Intensely red-orange light reveals a dense network of trunks, branches, and foliage beneath a star-filled sky. The tallest trees rise near the center, balancing the dark expanse above, where a faint winding red trace interrupts the scattered blue-white points. The contrast lends the woodland an uncanny, theatrical stillness.

The story

On this late-November night, the trees wear the color of embers. Light follows every fork of the trunks and catches the smallest twigs, drawing them out of the surrounding darkness. Above their crowns, blue-white points offer a cooler, more distant brightness. A wandering red line hangs in that open space, its source outside the frame. The woodland seems poised between familiar earthly forms and an unfamiliar sky.
