The story
November light catches the crest as it rises beside the sand. For a moment, the water holds a hollow of luminous green-blue, its upper edge loosening into spray. Beyond it, the mountains remain softened by haze, and the dark rocks stand clear against the foam. A thin wash spreads across the foreground, marking the shore before slipping away.
