The story
On this November day, the water holds broad bands of blue, broken by the fine rhythm of ripples. A blue boat rests nearest, its worn hull edged with gold. Farther out, wooden posts and an empty platform cast slender reflections that tremble without losing their shape. Light touches the distant rocks, and the open water leaves room for everything to remain apart.
