Foaming seawater threads through a dense field of dark, wet shoreline rocks. Golden highlights catch their uneven surfaces against saturated blue shadows, while the close, horizonless composition holds the eye between the weight of stone and the movement of water.
The story
On this late-November day, light gathers in small golden patches across the wet stones. Water slips between them, spreading pale foam into every opening. The larger rocks interrupt its passage, dividing the surface into curling channels. For a moment, the shore holds warmth and coolness together: gold on the ridges, blue in the hollows.
