A white net hammock stretches between curved palm trunks, its fine cords contrasting with the deeply textured bark in the foreground. Saturated blue sky and sunlit green fronds fill the upper frame, while a narrow ocean horizon anchors the beach scene.
The story
I framed the hammock between the leaning trunks, letting the nearest palm rise through the photograph like a great curved pillar. Beyond it, the sea became a narrow band of blue, almost secondary to the intricate ropes and leaves. What held my attention was the empty space waiting above the sand. I wanted to keep that invitation intact: a place to pause, with nothing between the trees but light and woven cord.
