The story

I followed the aircraft with my lens until the sky became its only backdrop. From below, the painted wings spread into a precise pattern, their dark curves held between white panels and flashes of red. What drew my eye was the small orange glow at the rear, a concentrated warmth in all that blue. I wanted to hold that contrast for a moment: the intricate machine, the open air, and the faint lines left behind.
