The story

I followed the two aircraft through the viewfinder, drawn to the space between them as much as to their shapes. One banked toward the camera, opening its wings into a broad, graphic silhouette; the other held a slender profile against the blue. I wanted the frame to keep that contrast intact. For this fraction of a second, flight became something I could read in lines, angles, and the clear sky between.
