About this piece
A glossy orange steering wheel dominates this close view of a vehicle cockpit, framing dark instrument dials, polished switches, and perforated metal panels. Bright highlights and cool blue reflections sharpen the contrast between saturated red-orange surfaces and shadowed upholstery, turning functional details into a rhythmic arrangement of circles and diagonals.
The story
On this November day, the cockpit holds a brightness of its own. Light runs along the wheel’s polished rim and gathers on the small metal switches behind it. Circles repeat from the gauges to the footwell, where red shows through the silver panels. No hands interrupt the wheel’s broad arc; the machinery rests in a quiet interval before motion.
